When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected beautiful coral reefs. And I found them. But I saw something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My pulse jumped. This was more than a typical reef dive; this was an adventure into history.

I have to admit, I felt nervous. Wreck diving is serious business. But the team at **Amadive** were absolutely professional. The Divemasters gave us an excellent safety briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what we would see. Being in such a small group immediately made me feel confident.

Going down was magical. First, it's a shadow in the distance, and then it came into view. It was huge. It's now a bustling new home, covered in corals and swarming with fish. I spotted big groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the cracks. The feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly vessel was indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for an adventure more the standard reef, I cannot urge you this **dive** highly enough.
